Hey, SINK: City of Killers Backers, we have some fun news to share with you...
SINK: City of Killers (Volume 3) that you helped fund here on Kickstarter has been short-listed in the Best Graphic Novel category for the 2025 Selkie Awards!
The Selkie Awards (or Selkie Comic Awards) are an awards program aimed at celebrating and promoting independent and small-press comics creators in Scotland. They are open to comic/graphic novel creators based in Scotland, or creators who are residents of Scotland.
FUN FACTOID: The name “Selkie” is drawn from Scots mythology. Selkies are creatures who can shapeshift between seal and human forms. The metaphor is used because independent comic creators often have to take on many roles adapting and shapeshifting much like the mythical selkies!

Hey, SINK fans, great news! While it's a busy launch day here at ComixTribe HQ, we want to let you know that we just dropped off the final package at the post office for the SINK: City of Killers (Volume 3) Kickstarter campaign! It's always a great relief to get all the rewards that our fans made possible out the door. And it's a thrill to start seeing pics of them reaching their intended hands!
As of right now, we've shipped EVERYTHING we're able to ship. Of course, we still have 13 backers whose packages are being held up because we don't have their shipping info, their shipping payment, or both. And there is 1 backer whose credit card hasn't gone through.
Our policy is to hang on to rewards for 12 months... so please contact us if you're having difficulty finishing your survey.
Note: We're also working to fix any shipping issues that might arise, so if there's a problem with your order, please let us know and we'll make it right!

📦SINK Shipping Has Begun!

Hey SINK fans... great news. Shipping has commenced for SINK: City of Killers now that the big shipment of books has been received and checked in to our warehouse.
In fact, as of today, more than half of the rewards ordered during this campaign will be out the door. A few things to note:
We've uploaded and sent out tracking numbers for all orders in this first wave of shipping. Note, it may be a few days before those tracking numbers are showing up in the systems, as some of the packages have yet to be delivered to the USPS / UPS warehouses and are due for pick-up today.
Also note, a bunch of tracking labels were printed up over a week ago, in advance of books coming in, so don't be alarmed if your tracking says your book was shipped a week ago and still isn't in tracking... that was when the label was created, not when it was packed and shipped.
If you don't have a tracking number yet, don't worry... we're still working our way through the orders... and some packages are being held up as we're still waiting on product to arrive.
Again we still have 20 backers who haven't filled out their surveys yet and 5 backers whose cards errored. We won't be able to ship those rewards until we have that info collected and cards fixed so please head to Backerkit ASAP to get that sorted.
MR DIG PLUSH UPDATE
Good news on the Mr. Plush. It took a little longer than expected to do the full production run of these bad boys, so we decided to pay a little extra to air-ship what we need for the Kickstarter. That package is already in the air, and should be in hand on or around June 23rd.
Likewise, we're expecting the SINK Vol 4 Ashcan to arrive sometime next week or so. So, if your order included the Mr. Dig Plush Toy or the SINK Vol 4 Ashcan we expect to be able to ship those orders out by the end of the month. Again, appreciate your patience... as always, these campaigns involve multiple vendors and a team effort not just to create the book but to put a great final product into your hands.
Again, we can't thank you enough for your support SINK and hope you're getting pumped to head back to SINKHILL later this year... this time for HALLOWEEN! (FYI, John Lees is ALWAYS ready for Halloween!)

Hey, friends and SINK fans... Hope you're doing well. We just wanted to let you know that we're on track to start shipping the new SINK: City of Killers books this month. We got word that 2 palettes of the new SINK volume have cleared US customs and are en route to our Chicago warehouse.
We've already printed out shipping labels for the first 147 orders to go out the door. The first wave will include the simplest orders, primarily that only include the new books, without any add-ons.
Our limited edition art plates have made the trip across the Atlantic to get signatures from both John and Alex and those are ready to go out the door when the books arrive.
We also received word that the Mr. Dig Plush Toys should be ready to ship from our overseas production facilities by TOMORROW. Honestly, with all the tariff insanity, it's been INSANELY stressful to not know exactly what the damage is going to be on that new product... but we're probably going to just pay a little extra to airship the plushies so we can get them out to you ass soon as possible. We're also expecting to get the New Volume 4 Ashcan in in a couple of weeks, so once those two products are in, we'll be able to ship the rest of the orders.
Again, in these crazy times, with big launches like this there are a lot of moving pieces and work that goes in to getting you an amazing product.
We appreciate your patience and support as we move closer to sticking the landing... and hope it gets you all the more excited for the SINK: HALLOWEEN SPECIAL coming later this year!

Hey, friends, Tyler James from ComixTribe here. Hope you're doing well! Just a quick update on SINK: City of Killersas we get closer to shipping.
First, we got word today the production has wrapped on the new books, and they're being all packed up now to get prepped to ship to us from overseas.
Even though each book is shrink-wrapped, I appreciate the extra bagged insulation our printer puts around the books during shipping, because you never know what can happen once the books hit the high seas!
It should be at least a month in shipping transit before the books hit our warehouse so that we can start shipping out to backers. In the meantime though, we're excited about the other cool product that's rolling in.
